| Welcome to the City of Denton Animals Website Please take a moment to look at our great pets up for adoption and find your new best friend or learn about who we are and what we do. The Denton Animals Services is an open adoption facility and we welcome all visitors. We encourage interaction between our visitors and adoptable pets. The adoptable animals look forward to daily visits and socialization by our volunteers and visitors. Animals of all sorts spend time with us, from newborn kittens to potbelly pigs. What We Do: The City of Denton Animal Services is a temporary home to lost, unwanted and stray animals. Part of the Denton Police Department, the Animal Services Unit has full time officers who help in a responsive, effective, and courteous manner, when assisting citizens with:
